About StoryLeap
Personalized tools for the adults around each child.
StoryLeap is a platform for creating and personalizing professional tools used around children. It was founded in 2025.
Who StoryLeap is for
- Speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists and other therapists who work with children.
- Special education professionals, kindergarten teachers and education teams.
- Clinics, schools and organizations that want one consistent way to prepare materials.
- Families, who can open the resources their child’s professional chooses to share.
The problem we work on
Making a social story or an activity is rarely the hardest part. The hard part is knowing what this child needs, and keeping that consistent across sessions, colleagues and home.
Professionals often rebuild materials by hand for every child, or start from generic templates and AI tools that don’t know the child. StoryLeap starts from the child’s context and the professional’s goal instead.
How StoryLeap supports professionals
- You describe the child, the goal and the situation. StoryLeap helps you create a draft social story or pick a ready-to-use activity.
- You review and edit everything before you use it. The professional decides; StoryLeap does not diagnose or provide treatment.
- You keep each child’s materials in one private workspace and share selected resources with the family.
- Tools for visual sequences and emotion and conversation cards are in development. Ready-made picture sequences and a printable emotion-card deck are available now.
The team
StoryLeap is built by its three co-founders, together with the professionals who test it.

How we handle children’s information
- Child profiles and materials live in a private workspace that requires signing in. Other users can’t see them.
- Families see only what the professional explicitly shares with them, never the professional’s notes, goals or other children.
- Ready-to-use activities open without an account and don’t ask for information about the child.
